A senior Amanah leader today said that the proposed National Integrity and Management Department (JITN) is a redundant move that will only weaken the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).

In opposing the move, Amanah deputy president Salahuddin Ayub also called on Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Paul Low to focus instead on implementing past recommendations made by the MACC advisory panels to reform the anti-graft body.
