Zairil quits FAP after poor results

Zairil Khir Johari has stepped down as Football Association of Penang (FAP) president following the club's poor performance at the ongoing Malaysia Super League.

The club is currently at the bottom of the table after 21 games played with one more game to go. The club will be relegated to the Malaysia Premier League next season.

Zairil, a former businessman and Bukit Bendera MP, was appointed FAP chairperson in February when the club was already the worst Super League team...
