An AirAsia Indonesia flight from Perth to Bali was forced to make a turn back after reportedly losing cabin pressure.

Australia's Nine News reported that oxygen masks had been released from the cabin during the incident.

According to The Star, flight QZ535 had 145 passengers on board and landed safely at the Perth International Airport at 12.40PM local time.

"Our engineers are assessing the aircraft," AirAsia said in a statement as reported by the English daily.

There are no details as to what triggered the incident.

All affected passengers will be scheduled to the next available flight, and be provided with the necessary assistance and meal vouchers.
