Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak has promised that the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High-Speed Rail (HSR) project will be delivered on-time and within budget.

Speaking at a ceremony today which unveiled the architectural concepts of Malaysian HSR stations, Najib said he was aware that "all eyes" were on how his administration would execute and deliver the project.

"I believe we can do it, as we have done with the Mass Rail Transit (MRT) project.

"We can set an example of how mega-projects like this can be delivered efficiently within budget and the time frame for the benefit of the country and the people," he said at the Malaysian International Trade and Exhibition Centre (Mitec) this morning...
