1MDB-linked businessperson Low Taek Jho's superyacht was spotted in Aceh, Sumatra.

Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said Malaysia had sought Interpol's help to locate Low.

Zahid later clarified that he did not mean that there was an active search for Low by Interpol.

The Dewan Rakyat rejected at least 10 parliamentary queries related to 1MDB.

The project was not approved by the Natural Resources and Environment Ministry.

Penang mayor Maimunah Sharif said the hillslope project complied with safety guidelines.

Minister Noh Omar dared DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang to tell his son, Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng, to resign over the landslide.

Penang executive councillor Chow Kon Yeow said it was not fair to ask Guan Eng to resign over the disaster.
