PARLIAMENT | Mohamad Imran Abd Hamid (PKR-Lumut) today stunned the Dewan Rakyat when he insisted that Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 plunged into the South China Sea.
Mohamad Imran, a retired navy first admiral, said this conclusion was drawn based on his experience with the navy and radar technology.
"There can only be two reasons (the plane went off the radar), either the plane exploded or it fell into the ocean," he said.
In view of this, he said he was not satisfied with efforts to search for MH370 in the Indian Ocean.
"There is no video evidence that the plane turned towards the Indian Ocean. I urge the government to show videos (evidence) from the navy to show the plane changed direction...
