SUHAKAM INQUIRY | A senior police officer probing the abduction of Pastor Raymond Koh today accused his family members of being "uncooperative" with the investigations.

Investigating officer Supari Mohammad said he had obtained certain information on Koh's movements before his disappearance on Feb 13, which the family had allegedly refused to confirm.

"They did not want to answer issues related to Christianisation. We are trying to narrow down reasons for the abduction.

"For example, I have investigated and obtained information, so I asked the family, 'where did Raymond go in four days between this date and that date?," he told the panel led by Suhakam commissioner Mah Weng Kwai.

"I have evidence. But as his wife and children, to tell me they don't know, is that an answer?

"They are living in the same house. Impossible for them to not know," Supari said, although he did not reveal any of the evidence uncovered by the police so far.

He further accused Susanna Liew, Koh's wife, of having shouted at him during the course of being questioned in relations to the case.

Koh's daughter Esther, who attended the hearing, was heard grumbling that the police was trying to blame them in the incident.

Supari also revealed that questions directed to Koh's family members were partly based on 78 police reports lodged against him in 2011 from parties unhappy with his alleged proselytisation activities.

The reports were lodged following a Selangor Islamic Religious Department's raid on the Damansara Utama Methodist Church, during a dinner function hosted by Koh's NGO, Harapan Komuniti.

The Suhakam inquiry probing Koh's alleged abduction and disappearance of three others had previously heard testimonies from Liew and Koh's son Jonathan who complained that police had focused more on Koh's alleged proselytisation activities rather than to identify his whereabouts.
