Dr Mahathir Mohamad has weighed in on former minister Husni Hanadzlah's prediction that Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak would bequeathe the nation with an administration devoid of corruption when he steps down.

In a video posted on Facebook this evening, the former premier, to the background score from one of the Harry Potter movies, said if this is the case, Najib should relinquish his post with immediate effect.

“He (Husni) said when Najib resigns, the level of corruption would decline at the time. So it is best if Najib resigns now,” he said...
