Bersatu is prepared to be investigated by the Registrar of Societies (ROS) concerning various issues among them on the use of the term ‘Armada’ which stands for Angkatan Bersatu Anak Muda.

Its secretary-general Dr Shahruddin Md Salleh when met by the media in Johor today said that he was recently contacted by ROS and asked to give a statement next Tuesday.

"We will cooperate with the authorities and explain matters which had been raised by the members," he said after chairing a Bersatu state-level monthly meeting at the Johor Bahru PPBM division office here.

He was commenting on the party's recent internal crisis which included RoS warning for using ‘Armada’ as the abbreviation for its youth wing which was not found in Bersatu's constitution.

In addition, some members had also complained to ROS that several Armada members were fired and others had questioned the management's status as the party has yet to call for an annual general meeting.

Shahruddin added that Bersatu would not prevent any of its members from making complaints as it was their rights.
