Donations in cash and kind continue to pour for Penang flood victims, with Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng today receiving RM1.04 million from several donors.
The cash donations, among others, are from Penang Chinese Chamber of Commerce (RM800,000), Malaysian Moral Uplifting Society (RM80,000), Penang Moral Uplifting Society (RM60,000), and Selangor Kajang Temple (RM100,000).
Lim also announced receiving cheques for RM1 million and RM500,000 from the Selangor government and the Johor Football Association, respectively.
Apart from the cash contributions, Penang medical groups also announced that 59 clinics in the state will offer free medical treatment to the first 100 registered flood victims at each clinic (subject to the sole discretion of the doctor), for a month from today...
