Kelantan deputy menteri besar Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah has revelled in PAS' Wisma Tok Guru land victory saying it has vindicated the party against Salor assemblyperson Husam Musa's allegations.

“Almost all the allegations in each of his ceramah that attack the state government, really is not right, and now at last, it has been shown we are in the right.

“This is not a personal attack, but we want to uphold the truth," he was reported as saying by Sinar Harian today.

He was speaking to the media after a crowd of 3,000 gathered to celebrate PAS' success in a legal battle over the land on which the Wisma, which houses Amanah's headquarters in Kota Bharu, sits.

This follows the Kota Bharu High Court's rejection of Husam’s injunction application against an eviction order to vacate the land.

Husam's office is also at Wisma Tok Guru, which sits on land belonging to his predecessor in the Salor state seat, the late Ahmad Rosli Ibrahim.

Husam (photo) fell out with PAS following a series of attacks on the Kelantan state government over alleged illegal logging issues, among others.

“All of Husam's allegations against the state government is not right. This is also true for the Kijang Kuari Sdn Bhd issue, where he accused the state government of selling (the state quarrying firm) when it is not true,” he said.

Wisma still in limbo

When asked about the status of Wisma Tok Guru itself, he said the matter has yet to be resolved and the matter will be heard in court on December 4.

“We will just wait till that date. We are holding our prayers and thanksgiving (over the land) but we have not disturbed the building.

“We respect the court procedure and are in the process of getting justice,” he said.

PAS sacked Husam in May 2016. He subsequently joined Amanah and was elected its vice-president last April.

However, Rosli had allowed him to use the land as his service centre and prior to his death, had rebutted claims that Amanah had stolen PAS property, pointing out that his leasing of the land was to Husam himself, and not to the party.

PAS then purchased the land for RM700,000 from Rosli’s widow, and served Husam an eviction order issued in her name.
