Cempaka assemblyperson Iskandar Abdul Samad has questioned the purported presence of Sungai Besar Umno chief Jamal Mohd Yunos at a school function in his constituency this morning.
He said parents of the school’s pupils should oppose Jamal’s visit because he is a controversial figure who does not set a good example for the students.
“He was previously involved in violence such as breaking bottles in a public place namely in front of the Selangor state secretariat.
“He also held demonstrations by bringing a hearse and beds outside the building, preventing members of the public from doing business with the government departments there.
“Apart from that, he even held a demonstration there covered only with a towel.
“Thus, parents should oppose Jamal’s presence at the school,” said Iskandar in a statement today...
