The number of flood victims in Raub declined to 179 people from 43 families after two temporary relief centres closed this morning.

Pahang Civil Defence director Zainal Yusoff said the two temporary relief centres in Masjid Jamek Kuala Semantan and Kampung Temau Community Hall were closed at 10.30am.

Another three temporary relief centres at Sega Lama Community Hall are sheltering 30 people from five families, Kampung Pia Hall (104 people from 28 families) and SK Chenua (45 people from 10 families)," he said when contacted here today.

Meanwhile, he said the water level at Sungai Dong remains at the alert level of 117.12m, indicating a downward trend.
