Kelantan Amanah Youth chief Hazmi Hassan filed a police report yesterday after receiving threats to his safety on social media.

The threats were made after one of Hazmi’s articles on late PAS spiritual leader Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat, entitled “Semoga nama almarhum Tok Guru terus hidup” (May the name of the late Tok Guru live on) was shared in a Facebook group.

Three different individuals had issued the threats, which were made in the Facebook group in question.

“I only wrote about the kindness and wisdom of Tok Guru Nik Aziz. But subsequently, I received threats from the three individuals,” he said when contacted by Malaysiakini today...
