Sungai Besar Umno division chief Jamal Md Yunos has lodged a police report against Pakatan Harapan chairperson Dr Mahathir Mohamad, his wife Dr Siti Hasmah Ali, and former minister Zaid Ibrahim.

Jamal said he had lodged a report over the trio's "disobedience to the Rukun Negara, and about their pride and insolence towards the Selangor sultan”.

Mahathir and his wife had returned awards conferred upon them by the Selangor palace, after Selangor ruler Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah cautioned the former premier that his anger against the current federal administration would “raze the nation”.
