DAP's Segambut MP Lim Lip Eng has made an application to strike out a defamation suit by MCA, following his allegation that the party had "pocketed" government funds meant for Chinese vernacular school.

His lawyer Guok Ngek Seong told the High Court in Kuala Lumpur that a political party cannot file a suit against Lim.
