K'tan Harapan shines light on Husam in Kota Bharu blitz
Kelantan Pakatan Harapan is hoping to shine a spotlight on its chairperson Husam Musa with a series of programmes in Kota Bharu.
Although Husam's candidacy in Kota Bharu has yet to be given the green light by Harapan’s central leadership, local leaders are nevertheless keen to promote the protégé of the late PAS spiritual leader Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat.

Kelantan Harapan will kick off its series of programmes with "Dialog Rakyat: Bina Semula Negara" on Thursday at a food court along Jalan Kebun Sultan in the state capital.
"We will put forward Husam as the keynote speaker," state Amanah chief Wan Abd Rahim Wan Abdullah said.
Just over a year after Nik Aziz's passing, Husam was sacked from PAS, in May 2016, due to a falling out with the new PAS leadership.
He subsequently joined splinter party Amanah and became its vice-president.

PAS' Takiyuddin Hassan (photo) won the Kota Bharu seat with a landslide in the 13th general election, garnering 40,620 votes to Umno's 24,650.
Kelantan Harapan is convinced that Husam is the man to take on the difficult task of capturing the capital of the PAS-ruled Kelantan.
A key target demographic for Harapan in Kota Bharu will be the Chinese community – which only makes up about 16 percent of the voter base - but still higher in numbers than in the other parliamentary constituencies in Kelantan.
Wan Abd Rahim said Harapan has also arranged a Chinese New Year celebration in the constituency next month.
"We will hold a parade along Jalan Kebun Sultan and distribute mandarin oranges to the Chinese community, while at the same time also share the Harapan manifesto with them.
"We will also do a shop-to-shop visit to wish them Happy Chinese New Year. There will also be a Chap Goh Mei celebration on March 1," Wan Abd Rahim added.
