Pokok Sena MP Mahfuz Omar has apologised to the Pahang palace over his comments about Sultan Ahmad Shah but maintains he never intended to insult the monarch.

This was in light of Pahang crown prince Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah’s advice that the former PAS lawmaker should not have 'spoken out of turn' about someone older than him.

“I apologise to the Pahang palace if my speech was seen as offensive by the palace.
