The Election Commission has denied receiving any new voter registration applications from army voters, or creating a new locality at an army camp in Paloh, Johor in the Supplementary Electoral Roll (DPT) for the fourth quarter of 2017.
Its chairperson Mohd Hashim Abdullah in a statement today also refuted allegations that there were new voters comprising army personnel and their spouses being registered at an army camp in Paloh, and had been transferred from the Mahkota Camp in the Sembrong parliamentary constituency.
“The parties concerned can check the DPT for the fourth quarter of 2017 which is on display from Jan 17 to 30, 2018 at nearby locations,” he added.
