MCA president Liow Tiong Lai has attributed the frustration seen in the UndiRosak movement to the opposition.

"I think the frustration is mainly due to the opposition. The opposition is in a chaotic situation," he told journalists at a function in Kuala Lumpur.

Liow (photo), in a KiniTV video, said the UndiRosak movement's calls to spoil votes was an expression of frustration and it was their right to do so.

He stressed that regardless whether voters wanted to vote for or against a party or even spoil their votes, they should head to the polls on election day.

Liow also stressed that the government has been working hard in contrast to the opposition.

"We are working very hard. The government can at least show positive energy. We are building the nation.

"The opposition, you can see, continues to disseminate negative news, try to build hatred among the rakyat and splitting the people.

"People have come to a point where they are very fed up with this kind of negative news. People want to see all forces coming together to build the nation, not destroy the nation," he said.
