PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar has dismissed a report that she will be contesting the Pandan parliamentary seat in the 14th general election (GE14).

"(It is) purely speculation. As I stated, I abide by leadership’s decision (on where to contest)," Nurul Izzah told Malaysiakini.

When asked if she would officially defend Lembah Pantai for a third term unless PKR's top leadership decides otherwise, she replied: "Yes..."
