Terengganu BN is confident of winning in the 14th general election, and retaining administration of the state.

The division’s information chief Wan Hakim Wan Mokhtar said BN had its own strategy, without having to imitate what the opposition was doing to win the GE14.

"We are quite confident of winning the general election and continue to govern this state.

“Regardless of what strategies the opposition uses, we have our own strategies, and are only waiting for the right time to launch them,” he told a press conference in conjunction with the Terengganu BN Convention 2018.

The two-day convention will be opened by Umno vice-president Hishammuddin Hussein (photo), who is also Defence Minister, in Kuala Terengganu tomorrow.

Wan Hakim, who is also Air Putih assemblyperson, said Terengganu BN already had detailed information and latest data on the voters who are expected to vote for the BN in GE14.

“In the general election, the number of voters means everything,” he said, adding that the state BN had also conducted a study which showed the BN had the upper hand.
