A female probationary police inspector has lodged a report against a superior, alleging that she was forced to perform oral sex on him.

Quoting sources, The Star said the 28-year-old woman was invited for dinner by the suspect about 8pm on Feb 25 at a restaurant in Kangar, Perlis, but the restaurant was closed.

He then reportedly drove the woman to a secluded spot, where the alleged incident took place.

The sources told the daily that the woman did not put up a fight because she was afraid for her safety.

The woman had earlier complained that the suspect had groped her buttocks when she was in his office late last year and threatened to make her work difficult if she rejected his advances.

On the same day of the groping incident, the suspect also lodged a report of his own, claiming that such an incident did not happen and that her claims were aimed at tarnishing his name.

In the report, the senior officer had claimed that the woman was unhappy that he had criticised her for not doing her job properly.

He also said she could have been influenced by "outsiders" to lodge the report against him.

The senior officer, whose rank was not mentioned, has been reportedly transferred out of the district and instructed to go on leave pending investigation.
