Incumbent Sungkai assemblyperson A Sivanesan today chided Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi of speaking to the wrong audience, in calling for support to be returned to BN in the 14th general election.

"I think the deputy prime minister is a bit confused here.

"He was speaking in a constituency that is not even mine," the DAP representative told Malaysiakini.

Sivanesan was responding Zahid's remark yesterday, calling on voters in Sungkai to return their support to BN, as it is the "only party that can help the people, especially in the rural areas."...
