Aussie PM ignores Dr M's warning on Najib

Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull had a photo-op with Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, despite warnings from Dr Mahathir Mohamad to avoid the publicity stunt.

Najib said his visit for the Asean-Australia Special Summit 2018 would boost bilateral ties between Malaysia and Australia.

Mahathir said Najib as a member of his cabinet when he was prime minister, had a collective responsibility for the Operation Lallang dragnet.

MIC's turn to prod LGE

MIC treasurer S Vell Paari took a shot at Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng over a photograph purportedly of him and a businessman being probed by the MACC over the Penang tunnel project.

MCA deputy president Wee Ka Siong claimed DAP's foray into his constituency Ayer Hitam showed its vindictiveness to over attacks against the Penang tunnel issue.
