PAS deputy: What's strange about praying for our enemies' defeat?
GE14 | PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man defended the prayer at a PAS Selangor gathering last Saturday, which called for the destruction of "evil pakatan".
Tuan Ibrahim claimed the prayer, led by Selangor PAS committee member Ahmad Dusuki Abd Rani, was manipulated by critics.
"The prayer was manipulated. If we look at prayer, it is normal to pray for our victory and our enemies' defeat. There is nothing strange.

"So it is not an issue," Tuan Ibrahim told a press conference after launching the PAS-led Gagasan Sejahtera manifesto in Cyberjaya last night.
Following an outcry over the prayer, PAS supporters claimed the words "evil pakatan" was not in reference to Pakatan Harapan.
However, prior to praying for the destruction of the "evil pakatan" Ahmad Dusuki had mentioned about those who "stole" PAS seats.
Several PAS elected representatives had quit the party to form Amanah, which is now a component party of Pakatan Harapan.
Tuan Ibrahim blamed criticism of the prayer on the media for "spinning".
"The issue is not with the prayer but the media which spin. If the media reported it correctly, there would be no issue," he said.
