Prime Minister's wife Rosmah Mansor said she supported Putrajaya's plans to enact an anti-fake news law.

"I'm all for it... the new law for fake news... I'm all for it," said Rosmah curtly, when met at a function in Kuala Lumpur today.

Putrajaya is expected to table the new law next week, which critics argued would ultimately be used to stifle dissent.
