GE14 | Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak has accused Pakatan Harapan of plagiarising BN's policies for their election manifesto.

"The opposition alliance's manifesto, unabashedly, plagiarised or 'copied and pasted' what had already been implemented by the BN government.

"In fact, their pledges are illogical and do not make sense. It will cause the country to be bankrupt," wrote Najib in his blog today.

Najib said, in contrast, his administration had shown that its five-year "Aku Janji Kerajaan Persekutuan" (AKP or federal government pledges) has shown results.

"A total of 99.4 percent of the AKP was achieved and it is proof that we have a stellar track record of delivering what we promised.

"Let this track record indicate that if once again given a mandate, BN will continue to bring development and success in our path to transformation," he said.

The AKP is BN's own report card on how it has delivered on the 17 core policies outlined in BN's election manifesto for 2013. It can be viewed here.

According to Najib, 84.5 percent of the 6,136 projects implemented as part of BN's manifesto had been completed while 15.1 percent were in the process.

Najib will launch's BN's manifesto for the 14th general election tomorrow night.

Harapan launched their manifesto on March 8 with their key pledges involving the abolishing of the GST, institutional reforms, better healthcare, improved public transport, introducing term-limits for top government posts and investigating 1MDB among others.
