GE14 | Those who fancy driving around with huge BN logo stickers plastered on their cars can do so until May 4, and get paid RM300 in the process.

According to Sin Chew Daily, an event company, which has been hired for the project, had set up a counter at a petrol station at Jalan Tempinis, in Bangsar, since last Saturday.

The person in charge of the counter, who only identified himself as Varrence, told the daily that they get between 50 and 60 interested people visiting them on a daily basis. It is especially well received on the weekend, he added.

"We have promoted the event on Facebook and those who wish to earn a side income, can participate.

"Bangsar is the first stop (for the event) in Kuala Lumpur. We will cover the entire Klang Valley," he was quoted.

He added that stickers with three types of designs with BN's theme in its manifesto "Hebatkan Negaraku" (Make the country great), will be available to the public.

Varrence said inspections will be carried out on the participating vehicles to ensure they are roadworthy before they are allowed to carry the stickers. 

"We will pay RM150 when putting up the sticker, and taking a photograph. The balance will be paid when the participants take a picture together with their respective cars on May 4."

Varrence denied the company was aligned to any political party, saying they were just carrying out duty they were hired to do.

The report claimed the RM300 payment was sponsored by Federal Territories BN, but its leaders have denied this.
