GE14 | Unlike Makkal Sakti’s stand in the 13th general election, the party is now confident of representing the BN to contest four parliamentary constituencies.
Its president RS Thanenthiran said he would leave it to the BN leadership to make the decision and did not want to put any pressure.
“We want to contest on a BN ticket and have already expressed our desire to the BN leadership... this was
decided after 10 years of becoming a strategic partner of BN. If given the opportunity, we want to
compete in the general election this time around.
“We have credible candidates and also new faces,” he said in an interview at Bernama headquarters in Kuala Lumpur today.
Thanenthiran, in the meantime, also reminded the BN component parties to put aside partisan sentiments
and focus on ensuring victory for BN in GE14.
