GE14 | Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), a key institution overseeing bumiputera economic development, may not enjoy the same BN love from DAP, warned caretaker prime minister Najib Abdul Razak.

"The one that set up PNB and has PNB close to the heart is the BN government.

"On the other side, however, there are creatures from DAP.

"We do not know yet whether they will love PNB like how BN has," he told some 2,000 people at a PNB event in Batu Pahat today.

Najib said he believes "Bangsa Johor" will take cognisance of this.

"I know Johoreans understand this matter. Bangsa Johor understands this.

"Our struggle to free this nation begins. Defend the current government in Johor, do not let what we have fought for go to waste," he said.

Najib also praised PNB for its involvement in United Kingdom's largest property deal - the Battersea power station redevelopment.

"In the past, the Malaysian economy was controlled by the colonial masters but today we are an investor in UK's biggest real estate development," he said.
