Former Election Commission chairperson Abdul Rashid Abdul Rahman (above) will be contesting in Kelantan's Kota Lama state seat for the 14th general election.

Abdul Rashid, who is Bersatu vice-president and Kota Bharu branch head, made the announcement himself at a press conference today.

Also present was Kelantan DAP chairperson Chua Chin Sui.

Kota Lama is one of the state seats under the Kota Bharu parliamentary seat. - Bernama
