GE14 | The Selangor BN new candidates pledged to devote "100 percent" commitment to serve their constituents if they win the 14th general election.

A total of 57 new faces were nominated to contest in 22 parliamentary and 56 state seats in Selangor, as announced by the party’s GE14 operations chief Faizal Abdullah today.

One of the new faces, Rizam Ismail, 37, candidate for the Sungai Air Tawar state seat in Sabak Bernam, said he believed the efforts carried out for the whole of last year in assisting the local people while holding the post as BN’s coordinator would be able to attract voters.

Rizam, who is also a businessperson, aimed at positioning himself to serve the people who could approach and contact him at all times if he was elected as their representative.

Another new face was MIC candidate for the Kota Raja parliamentary seat V Gunalan, 45, aimed to use his 25 years of experience in politics to provide the best service to the people in the constituency.

Gunalan, who is also MIC supreme council member, promised to develop the Indian community in the constituency, particularly in the social, economic and educational aspects and to dedicate "100 percent" commitment to serve the community.

Meanwhile, MCA new face Lim Chin Wah, 56, contesting the Balakong state seat, expressed his confidence that the voters were wiser to vote their representatives and he would use his strength in negotiations in organising works to approach the people in the constituency.
