This is after the Prisons Department allowed Anwar to remain at the Cheras rehabilitation hospital where it is more convenient for top PKR leaders to meet him.
The Prisons Department falls under the Home Ministry, which is led by caretaker deputy prime minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
"The government he (Anwar) is trying to overthrow seems to be making it all too easy for him to manage his party from his hospital bed.
"Among the stories circulating in PKR is that it is the government's way of monitoring the goings-on in PKR, including what is being discussed and planned," said The Star's analysis.
"However, the most pervasive theory is that there is some sort of political deal going on between top PKR and BN leaders."
It noted that the authorities have not restricted PKR leaders from visiting Anwar, and claimed PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution and vice-presidents Rafizi Ramli and Nurul Izzah have been conferring with their de facto leader on the 14th general election.
"All of this has raised questions about what is actually going on between BN and PKR leaders.
"Are they enemies or 'frenemies'?
"If they really trying to topple each other, then why the special treatment for Anwar and PKR leaders at such a crucial time?" asked The Star.
I dont think Najib n dumno made it easy for Anwar to issue instruction to PKR from his hospital bed at Cheras Rehabilitation Hospital in KL. If it is ever the case, it must be the sympathy of the Sg Buloh prison authority and/or its medical officers that insisted that Anwar's serious shoulder injuries need a prolong confinement for specialist treatment and therapy at the hospital! On the other hand whatever party strategies, discussion n instruction between/ from Anwar n his party chiefs cud hv been secretly monitored thru a secret monitoring device planted or inside the uniform of one or a few assigned prison guards, who knoes?
HA HA, anything could happen in politics; the leniency might come out with something good or it might also be something bad. It is merely a strategy for both sides of the political divide;The politicians would know what should be the next move.
Wow! MCA owned The Star, seeing that their bosses in MCA and those Najib Razak’s Umno BN leaders and candidates are gonna get big beatings at the coming GE14, are now tasked to create the mighty doubt and confusion in the populace whom are eagerly awaiting to vote out Umno BN.
