GE14 | The incumbent for Muar parliamentary seat Razali Ibrahim today accepted PKR candidate Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman’s challenge to a debate.

Razali said he had no problem accepting the challenge if the debate would bring good to Muar constituents.

“As the incumbent MP, it is my job to serve the people. If the debate is beneficial and will bring good to them, then just tell me where and when,” he told reporters after attending a community programme with the residents and fishermen in Sungai Balang near Muar today.

However, Razali said he had yet to receive any formal invitation to the debate from the young PKR candidate.

Last Monday, Syed Saddiq was reported to have challenged Razali to a debate on which party should the people pick to lead the federal government in Putrajaya come May 9 polling day.

Syed Saddiq also extended the challenge to PAS candidate contesting for the Muar seat, Abdul Aziz Talib.
