GE14 | The Energy, Green Technology and Water Ministry has assured uninterrupted power supply during the electoral process in the 14th general election tomorrow.
Its caretaker minister Maximus Ongkili said Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) has provided a total of 189 sets of mobile generators as a back-up and placed them at all polling stations and vote-tallying centres to ensure a smooth electoral process.
“TNB has taken the necessary steps to ensure that there are no incidents of power supply disruption that can jeopardise the smooth running of the electoral process. The steps were taken before nomination started and are well in place for tomorrow.
“Technical personnel from TNB are also ready to ensure continuous power supply during the electoral process and operations rooms in each state have also been activated,” he said in a statement in Kuala Lumpur today.
Consumers are also advised to contact TNB’s one-stop centre via Facebook, TNB CareLine or to contact 15454 for any complaints and feedback.
