PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim was granted an audience with the Johor ruler yesterday for a briefing on Pakatan Harapan's policies.

Anwar said he had informed the ruler that Harapan's policies were based on the rule of law and the Federal Constitution, in accordance with the latest developments in the country.

"We welcome His Majesty and the Crown Prince's concern over the problems faced by the public over Malaysia's current affairs.

"God willing, with the support of the public, and His Majesty, Johor and Malaysia will once again be on the correct path and move towards a country that is committed and proud," Anwar said in a post on Facebook today.

Anwar and PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar were flown by the Johor ruler for the audience yesterday evening.

Johor was long considered Umno and BN's bastion before it fell to Harapan in the May 9 general election.
