The lawyer for Umno Sungai Besar chief Jamal Yunos (above) has urged his client to surrender himself to the police and assist in the completion of an ongoing bail proceeding.

Sungai Panjang assemblyperson Mohd Imran Tamrin, in a statement, said Jamal's disappearance from his hospital ward yesterday was unintentional and could be due to unfamiliarity with the out of court bail proceedings, according to his lawyer Mohd Imran Tamrin.
