Umno wants Putrajaya to stop a witch hunt in the civil service for those who support BN.

Highlighting remarks by Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Aminuddin Harun, the Umno communications unit said such a hunt was oppressive.

"We are worried that this can be construed as a threat and oppression to the civil service in an attempt to deprive them of their constitutional and democratic right to freedom of association and the freedom of who they want to support," the unit said in a statement today...
