DAP leaders told not be 'arrogant', gov't posts are to serve the rakyat

Penang DAP chief Chow Kon Yeow has reminded party leaders who have obtained government posts not to be “arrogant” and instead treat it as an opportunity to serve the people.

Chow, the current Penang chief minister, said such opportunities also enable DAP members to strengthen the party's struggle.

"Don't be arrogant, treat your posts as a chance to serve the rakyat, because at the end of the day, the challenges before us are great," Chow said, before officiating the party's service centre in Berapit, run by assemblyperson Heng Lee Lee...
