Motorists along Jalan Ampang yesterday had a terrifying experience when a Rapid KL bus driver rammed into several vehicles, believed in an attempt to flee after earlier crashing into a car in front of Risda building in Kuala Lumpur.

City police Traffic Enforcement Investigation Department chief Assistant Commissioner Zulkefly Yahya said the bus was heading towards the Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) when the 8 pm incident occurred.

He said the driver only stopped the bus after going for about two-kilometre at the Jalan Ampang-MRR2 junction.

Zulkefly said the injured driver was taken to the Ampang Hospital for treatment.

"All the victims are in the midst of lodging police report," he said when contacted by Bernama.

The one-minute and 37-second video clip of the incident has also gone viral on social media.
