Probe on Musa Aman to begin 'soon', says Sabah police chief

Sabah police commissioner Ramli Din said today that former Sabah chief minister Musa Aman will be investigated soon over alleged criminal threats on the state governor pertaining to the appointment of the chief minister in May.

He said the police could not carry out the investigations as yet because there was a request seeking for a “little time” from a specialist doctor who is treating Musa.

"The doctor who is taking care of him has requested a little time. InsyaAllah soon (we will conduct the investigation)," he told Bernama.

Musa returned home from Singapore’s Seletar Airport and arrived at the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang at 6.45pm, yesterday.

Musa, the Sungai Sibuga assemblyperson, had reportedly left the country for London on May 17 to seek medical treatment.

He was sought by the police over alleged criminal intimidation against Sabah governor Juhar Mahiruddin during the May 10 swearing-in ceremony.

Musa is also being investigated by the MACC over allegations of buying over assemblypersons.
