Perak lawmaker Howard Lee has apologised on behalf of the state government after admitting similarities between the trailers for Sukma 2018 Perak and the Taipei 2017 Universiade.

Accusations of plagiarism followed the release of the Sukma trailer, which was said to lift directly from the Taipei 2017 Universiade video entitled “Taipei in Motion.”
