The Communications and Multimedia Ministry will support any efforts to improve the quality of the country’s film industry said its Minister Gobind Singh Deo.

He said he would keep track of the local film industry closely.

“My presence tonight is to support this movie, and as I have already pointed out that my approach is to go down to see the development of the industry itself,” he told reporters after the premiere of movie entitled 'One Two Jaga' here tonight.

“By being here tonight I can meet up with industry players and I support any effort for us to boost the film industry in Malaysia... towards a brighter future of local film industry,” he said.

Also present were movie producer Bront Palarae and director Namron.

The film tells the challenges faced by the police in dealing with foreign immigrant issues.
