Singapore Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean arrived at the Istana Negeri, Kota Kinabalu today to pay a courtesy call on Sabah Yang DiPertua Negeri Juhar Mahiruddin.
Accompanied by his wife Chew Poh Yim, they arrived at the palace at 10am and greeted by Abinan Asli, private secretary of Sabah yang dipertua negeri.
The meeting that lasted for almost an hour was held in conjunction with Teo’s three-day visit to Sabah beginning Friday.
Later today, Teo was scheduled to visit the Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM) base in Sepanggar before departing for Singapore tomorrow.
Yesterday, Teo had attended a briefing on the tourism industry in Sabah at one of the hotels in Kota Kinabalu.
