Father, son, daughter plead guilty to injuring neighbour

A father, his son and daughter pleaded guilty at the Selayang Magistrate’s Court in Kuala Lumpur today to a charge of voluntarily causing hurt to a man, who was their neighbour, using an iron bar, a helmet and a parang last month.

Md Isa Ismail, 63, and his two children, Ros Iman, 36, and Rosliza, 31, made the plea after the charge was read out to them before Magistrate Nurul Hasan Basri.

However, the court did not sentence the trio today as the three accused did not admit to all the facts of the case which was read out by deputy public prosecutor Ahmad Zuhaini Mahamad Amin.

The court allowed RM3,000 bail in one surety for each of the three accused and fixed Oct 22 for mention.

The three accused allegedly caused injury to S. Viknes Kumar, 23, in front of Blok D, Prima Selayang, PS1, Batu Caves at 9.30pm on Sept 6.

Meanwhile, Rosliza, who worked as a security guard, also pleaded guilty to committing mischief by damaging the windscreen and side mirror of the car belonging to Viknes Kumar’s girlfriend, J. Darshana, 23, at the same place, date and time.

The court also fixed this Monday for mention of this case.
