PKR POLLS | PKR deputy president contender Rafizi Ramli has claimed victory over incumbent Azmin Ali in Malacca and Negeri Sembilan.

The final tallies for both states are still not available as of writing, but Rafizi claimed to have clinched 55 percent of votes in Malacca, and 52 percent of votes in Negeri Sembilan.

"I'm still waiting for the final results to know the real margin," Rafizi wrote on Twitter.

Rafizi and Azmin are locked in a tight race for PKR's deputy presidency.

After the first round of voting in Selangor last week, Azmin widened his lead against Rafizi to 694 votes. Azmin has 29,071 votes in total, while Rafizi has 28,377 votes.

Voting in the PKR election continues tomorrow with a second round of voting in Selangor, and polls in Perlis as well.
