Muhyiddin: Police still awaiting orders to reopen Beng Hock probe

PARLIAMENT | Police are still awaiting orders to reopen the probe into the death of former DAP political aide Teoh Beng Hock, according to Home Minister Muhyiddin Yassin.

"The Home Ministry acknowledges the cabinet's decision on June 20, 2018 to reopen the case of Teoh's death.

"The police are still awaiting their orders and investigation scope from the Attorney-General's Chambers to start the probe again, and the police are also ready to form a special task force to handle this case," he said in a written parliamentary reply...
