The maiden budget of the Pakatan Harapan Negeri Sembilan government will be better than that of the previous government, says Menteri Besar Aminuddin Harun.

He said the State Budget 2019 which will be tabled on Monday at the state legislative assembly will take into consideration all interests and needs of the people.

"What we have included in the budget will make people feel we are better than the previous government, as it will be comprehensive and we will announce several measures which will benefit the people of Negeri Sembilan.

"The budget will encompass the poor community, not forgetting women, youths and the disabled, civil servants, the institution of custom (adat) and education,” he said at a media conference before chairing the weekly Executive Council meeting at Wisma Negeri in Seremban today.

Aminuddin was also asked about the list of award recipients in conjunction with the birthday of the Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir in January to which he said the list had been sent to the Tuanku for his consent.

“We in Pakatan Harapan will adhere to the advice of Tuanku. So I hope this will not become an issue or get politicised as the award is his right and we as the people upon receiving an award, are thankful to the Tuanku as it is his award to the people,” he said.
