As the clock struck the midnight hour, we leave 2018 and welcome 2019.
From all of us at Malaysiakini, we wish everyone - our readers especially - a very happy new year.
It has been our privilege and pleasure to share the Malaysian journey, and yet another year of building a better tomorrow for our future generation.
While it has been challenging, with battles won and skirmishes lost, the hope yet lives on.
We are working with a skeleton staff today, recharging our batteries before returning to the fray.
We shall be back in full force tomorrow to continue to give you more news, and views, that matter.
